Are some people actually paying the higher price? Only because they
are unaware of the lower prices.In a true competitive market, the price differential should only be a
function of exchange and transportation. The latter should be zero given
the destination is North America. (Don't get me ranting on UPS....) "Price discovery" is the first step to closing the spreads. Coz, and other
vendors, all contribute to this discovery process, especially on the
commoditized OEM products. Unfortunately, the same applies to a real SZ manifold made in the US
and a dupe made with cheaper materials, cheaper labor and (an
artificially) favourable exchange rate. Again, not endorsing, just observing.... PS >>> New 5 speed is not cheaper, C$ 2119 offer (about U$ 2050)
